Barolo and Barbaresco wine tasting tour is the best choice if you have short time, and you want to know the best wines of Piedmont.
We start our tour in the village of Barolo, a little walk in the heart of the Langhe, here we will tell you the story of the birth of this incredible wine.
You will have the opportunity to taste Gaja’s Barbaresco for 8 euros or you can have breakfast in a typical Italian Bar (breakfast included).
We will be at a winery in the area where you will taste at least 3 or 4 Barolo wines and other 4 or 5 wines, the visit will be made by the wine producer and his family.
Lunch around Barolo and Barbaresco area
**Lunch is not included, we will book the best solution between restaurants of different levels according to your preferences (casual, superior, Michelin starred), Piedmont is famous for the quality of its cuisine**
We will walk in the village of Barbaresco, here we will show you its history.
Visit to the church of the village, and here you will have a fantastic surprise, a tasting from the producers of Barbaresco.
A beautiful panorama could be seen from the square of the tower, but we would not visit the museum inside it.
The last tasting will be in a Barbaresco cellar, two elderly gentlemen who have been working the vineyards for 60 or 70 years will introduce you to the traditional expression of Piedmont wines and we will tell you the reason for the special wines in this cellar.
Here you will taste 10 wines between whites and reds, always respecting traditions.
At the end of the wine tasting experience in the cellar, around 06.30 pm, we will bring you back to your hotels in Langhe area, or at the main railways stations.
