Barolo Wine Tour

A walk in the village of Barolo, to discover the history of this fantastic wine and the influence it had on the people of the Langhe.

Here you can taste the most famous Barolo in the world, a glass of Gaja at the price of Euro 8.00 per glass, and a stop for a typical Italian coffee (coffee is included in the tour price).

A visit to a special winery in Serralunga d’Alba, here you will taste eight different wines including four Barolo wines, the wine producer will explain the whole winemaking process.

The Serralunga area is famous for full-bodied Barolo.

Here you can admire a fantastic view of Langhe landscapes.

**Lunch is not included, we will book the best solution between restaurants of different levels according to your preferences (casual, superior, Michelin starred), Piedmont is famous for the quality of its cuisine**

After lunch, our tour arrive to the beautiful village of La Morra.

From the square you can admire an incredible panorama of Langhe,we will walk in the center of the town on whose hills Barolo is born.

An important destination is the San Martino Church, inside you will see the particular symbolisms that distinguish it, and you will learn the story of the Catharism, a religious movement in Piedmont during the medieval time, from X to XIV century.

If you need a drink or to eat an original Italian ice cream, in the village it is possible (ice cream is included in the tour).

The last winery we are going to visit is located in the elegant Barolo area, in this small winery you will taste the Barolo wine produced in La Morra and the medium-bodied Barolo from Monforte.

Don’t miss the Nascetta wine (a very fragrant white wine, with a red wine character).
