The “italian Champagne tour” includes two wineries, one winery in the area of Canelli City, in an underground wine cathedral, and one winery in the area of Barbera wine DOCG (Denomination of Origin, Certificated and Guaranted).
There are 5 underground cathederals in Canelli and we will visit one of them, the quality of the classic Italian Method has nothing to envy to the famous French champagne.
In the year 2014, five Canelli cellars have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our first visit will be in a small winery in the Barbera DOCG area of Canelli, with a production of 2000 cases of wine per year.
Here, with the wine producers, we will visit the cellar, and they will explain you all the winemaking processes.
During the wine tasting, you will taste about 6-7 wines, including 2 white wines, produced with the Martinotti method.
After the visit in Canelli, we bring you to lunch.
Lunch is not included but we would book the best solution among restaurants of different levels according to your preferences (casual, superior, Michelin starred).
we will proceed to walk in the village of Neive, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy.
Here you will visit the museum dedicated to Romano Levi, an eccentric and famous producer of “grappa” spirit.
Our last wine tasting will be again in Canelli, in one of the 5 underground cathedrals, here we would spend about 45 minutes visiting these fantastic winery.
After the visit, we will bring you to taste the famous Italian Champagne (we cannot call it Champagne but Classic Method).
During this experience, you will taste four sparkling wines and one rosé wine, each of them accompanied by appetizers.
In the end, we will bring you back to your hotels or main railways stations in the area.
